The system's hollow fiber membrane filters are small, portable, easy-to-use, reliable, inexpensive, and can last a decade without needing to be replaced. They are rated to 0.1 micron absolute making it impossible for harmful bacteria, protozoa, or cysts like E. coli, Giardia, Vibrio cholerae and Salmonella typhi (which cause Cholera and Typhoid) to pass through.
No pumping or additional of chemicals is necessary. This Sawyer Water Filtration system comes with a one million gallon guarantee.
