The Kabode Stove (meaning "Strong" stove), is a charcoal and briquette burning, high-efficiency cookstove. It uses half the fuel and emits half the smoke as compared to traditional stoves. It also enables users to cook at double the speed. It is equipped with a door to regulate heat, and an insulating clay liner to retain heat. Furthermore, it is designed with an aluminum top to reduce wear and a highly durable metal grate, giving the stove a lifespan of up to five years.
Potential Energy produces this stove locally in Kampala, Uganda as well as Darfur, Sudan for humanitarian and other Base-of-the-Pyramid environments.
