The Swirl Flame Commercial LPG Cooking Burner is a gas burner with up to 15% higher thermal efficiency and reduced emissions, as compared to tradtional LPG burners.

This newly designed burner consists of a burner barrel, a main mixing tube and an inner mixing tube. Both the length and diameter of the inner mixing tube are less than main mixing tube. The inner mixing tube is loosely fitted inside of the main mixing tube, so that it can slide up and down.

The main mixing tube is fitted with the burner barrel at a 30 degree inclination. Proper mixing of gas and air is made possible by a swirling motion of mixture inside of the barrel, for a tangential entry of mixture from the main mixing tube.

The swirling motion of the flame increases contact with the cooking pot, which results in improved heat transfer to the pot. During slow cooking when the gas jet velocity is low, the inner mixing tube is activated by pulling it up inside of the main mixing tube. Less cross sectional area of within the inner mixing tube creates a higher rate of pressure-drop inside of the tube, even during slow gas jet velocity. As a result, adequate air is drawn inside of the tube, and the gas flame remains blue even during slow cooking.
